Mission/Vision
Advanced Spinal Technologies, Inc. (AST) is a medical device company that features new and existing technology to promote spinal health. Its first device, the Advanced Spinal Mobilization Instrument (ASMI) has been in clinical use in the United Kingdom, The Republic of Ireland, Australia and other countries around the world for over five years. AST holds the marketing and intellectual property rights in the United States and Worldwide (excluding the U.K. and The Republic of Ireland). The Advanced Spinal Mobilization Instrument has been cleared by the United States Food and Drug Administration for mobilization of the musculoskeletal joints of the spine by a licensed health care professional.
AST plans to introduce and commercialize the ASMI in the United States and Worldwide and seek new and complimentary technologies in the spinal and back therapy medical device field.
To achieve these results, AST has developed a five part plan:
- Position the Advanced Spinal Mobilization Instrument as a physical therapy device in the traditional medical community of internists, orthopedists, pain and rehabilitation specialists, physical therapists and hospital therapy and rehabilitation centers.
- File for and receive United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) marketing clearance and conduct clinical trials to further demonstrate efficacy and safety.
- Establish a network of upscale and "State of the Art" treatment and training centers featuring celebrity and professional sports endorsements and a comprehensive press, broadcast and public awareness campaign.
- Follow on marketing and sales to the chiropractic, holistic and wellness community.
- Identification and acquisition of new spinal and back care and therapy technologies.
